P.S: Checkout code is also applicable to personalize Playing Cards 54 at $5.77/each and free shipping.[/quote]

I'm not sure I understand... what's the difference between these two things? What are you getting for $5.77 each compared to $3.77 each?

$5.77 has both sides personalized (i.e. non-standard card deck design). $3.77 is if you want a standard card deck with just the back personalized.

I haven't used Artscow before. When I follow the link you've provided, I'm not seeing the offer you've quoted (I assume it's in a Newsletter email sent to registered users). Do we purchase the "Custom Playing Cards 54 Designs" (listed at $14.99 each on the page you've linked to) and then enter the PLAYCARD377 Coupon code during checkout?

Thanks,
Sean

Okay, so for example, for $3.77 I could have Free Trader printed, but just one back for all of the cards, and I'd have to separate them into the different decks before each game... but for $5.77 I could have the different backs for the different types of cards?

I think it means that $3.77 is for a deck of normal poker playing cards with a custom back, and $5.77 is for a deck of one custom back design and custom fronts as well.

The $3.77 is for a deck of 54 NORMAL playing cards (2 jokers, plus Ace-King of hearts, spades, diamonds, clubs), but you can provide one image to be printed on the back of the cards.

$5.77 is for 54 cards with different images on the front of each, and the same back on all of them. You provide all images.

Re: Even better deal on cards from ArtsCow - $3.77 / $5.77
For 3.77 you get a standard deck of cards (A-K, 4 standard suits) with whatever design you want on the back be it a family photo, your dog, whatever. 5.77 you get a single design on the back of 54 different custom made cards. Instead of A-K you can put the Free Trader cards, but you won't be able to have different backs unless you split them into different orders.

Here's a list of file sets that users have already made

edit: as said above, but I was slowed looking for the link
blah, and i had the wrong link. it's fixed now

Re: Even better deal on cards from ArtsCow - $3.77 / $5.77
There are double sided cards available, but unfortunately they do not benefit from this deal. (I tested it).

You can find the double sided cards by clicking the Create Your Own Stuff tab and searching for Cards in the search box. The first thing that comes up should be Learning Cards (54 designs). The price is 13.99, which isn't bad, but the shipping can be pretty expensive. I had two decks in my cart that used the special offer and I added a double sided test. My price went from $11.54 to $31.52.

When you order from them you build up credits. I may wait until I've ordered a few more decks using the special offer and save up some credit for a couple of double sided decks.

By the way, I printed Free Trader with just one back and it turned out great. I just separate the decks before play, no problem.

TGov - Did you try it just on the 54 different fronts, but 1 back or on the 54 different fronts and 54 different backs one? Cause I think it was the latter that greyareabeyond was talking about.

Spend a few hours on Amazon's Mechanical Turk site. It's tedious, and you don't get squat at first, but if you establish a good rep then you get better offers.

Re: Even better deal on cards from ArtsCow - $3.77 / $5.77
This makes me feel like a moron. Those GeekLists have some very cool looking decks of cards that I'd love printed, and $5.77 is a great price, but actually making it happen boggles my mind. What's up with this Microsift Silverlight thing? Why does it seem like I'm going to get 4x6 photo prints of my cards, rather then, well... actual cards. And basically, why am I so utterly perplexed by this process which countless people seem to have been able to take advantage of. Ah well.

spearjr is correct here. The cards that the deal doesn't work on are the Learning Cards which have 54 separate fronts and 54 separate backs.

Would it be possible to merge all these artscow threads or make a DIY subforum for artscow? it's getting tough to keep up with thread subscriptions...

I think that this can only be done by a moderator.
I would be glad to consolidate links to other threads/sites/etc. in the header of this thread (and have tried to start doing this to the extent that I note them).
