Not bad, too bad it's just a demo and not a full implementation...then again, they're trying to sell the card game.
My wife and I have played Monopoly Deal several times and have thoroughly enjoyed it! It is a short filler that has enough interaction to keep it interesting for what it is. I even recommended it to some family members and they're already bought it.

Hasbro is smart to use such a demo, but I was disappointed to see how scripted it is, refusing to let you play certain cards and instead pointing you to the "correct" choice with a note that better options are available.

Anyone know if there are plans to create this into an online true playable version?
They have a different demo on also Pogo.com but Im hoping they make it one of their actual playable games online to play against other online players.
That would be lots of fun
Pogo has the full normal Monopoly Here and Now online that you can play for free so this would be a good short verison to play instead
Its a fun / addicting game

I just played the game for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was. The only complaint I had was that the way to win (be the first to obtain 3 monopolies) was a bit arbitrary, so we modified the rules such that the 3 monopolies ends a round. At the end of a round, you add up the $ value of all your properties and money in the bank and subtract the value of all cards in your hand. The first player to $200 wins.
Has anyone else modified the rules like this?

I have also made modification to the game. We usually play to 4 sets for a win. Also, I found a modification to the cards to be very fun. There is 10 "pass go" cards. We take 3 of these and make 1 - another "just say no," 1 - Bank breaker card and 1 - Go to Jail card. Our house rules are as follows:
Bank Breaker card - The card played will steal the complete bank of one player.
Go to Jail Card - When played, if the person does not "Just say no" the action, they are sent to jail. While in jail they can not play Just Say no. Their turn is skipped once and the jail sentence ends at the beginning of the turn of the person that played the card.
Because there is 2 more action cards, we added the extra "just say no" card.
You can see how this changes the game.
