Looking foreward to the new expansion.
I see there are Warecards implented?
So how will this expansion be added to the game, as the most criticised point of the first expansion was the need to remove cards from the game?

hello sebastian,

very easy. you shuffle all cards (base, 1st, 2nd) together - that´s it!

Fantastic news.

However, are you sure it's 60 new cards?

It sounds more like 32!

wares, animals, person, utilities two times each, do you remember?
except the giraffe, a kick-ass-card, only 1 card.

Ah, so each card appears twice. This makes sense now.

Ok i have one question about the number of cards

* Base game : 110 cards (40 wares (36%)/ 70 others (63%))
* 1st exp : 40 cards (0 wares / 40 others)
* 2nd exp : 40 (16 wares / ¿¿¿24 others ¿5x2+5x2+2x2? ???)

All together ¿190? cards? (56 wares (29%) / ¿¿¿134 others (70%)???)

So i see much less wares...

PS: Maybe even 23 cards, as there is only one sole giraffe?

All together 205 cards (72 wares (35%) / 133 others (64%))

That's really cool. Now I don't have to take out certain cards etc. I can mix and play! Looking forward to this. Thank you Mr. Dorn!

Does this expansion have a name yet? And when will it have it's own BGG entry?

Very cool!

Is this why you were asking about the best/worst cards from the base game and the first expansion?

hi,

the name of the 2nd expansion is: jambo - 2nd expansion.

why i ask for the best/worst cards:
the reason is that alex mentioned in his review, that the 1st expansion includes overpowered cards - and i do not think so at all.
so it´s a gerneral interest.....

Rüdiger, what do you think of the posted three player variant? Its here on BGG - there are few rule changes to the regular game.

hello peter,

i have designed jambo as a 2-4-player-game.
the down time was too long for 3 and 4 players, so kosmos (german publisher) decide to make a 2-player-game.
every variant is ok, if it keep close to the original game idea.
with the expansions i give you the tools for more actions.
if you want to use them with 2, 3 or 4 player . it´s absolut ok.

nowadays i only play jambo with 2 persons, because it´s soo fluid to play.

I don't know that they're overpowered -- I can believe Spirit of the Ancestors sort of handles the more powered people cards, and all. I haven't played with them -- I was partly going by hearsay -- others on BGG have claimed they're "less subtle."

Can you tell us anything about why there are three more carpets?

Since I think that Jambo is one of the best two-player games ever I am very happy to hear about the new expansion. If it is anywhere near as clever as the original you will have another hit on your hands! Congratulations in advance!

The publisher of the first Jambo expansion, 12spiel.de, noted in its news section on June 10th that the second expansion – along with a reprinting of the first – should be available by the end of June.
