Summer Stabcon is the summer incarnation of Stabcon, a long running, twice yearly, boardgames and roleplaying convention held at the Britannia Hotel, Stockport. There are no organised tournaments or events, just a lot of space and a lot of games players. Think of it almost as a games club that meets twice a year for a whole weekend in a hotel.
Registration can be taken for the weekend or by the day.
Weekend registration fee £15.00 before May 31st, £17.50 after
Single day registration fee £7.50 before May 31st, £8.75 after
The Britannia Hotel, Stockport, has a large amount of conference space and all the usual facilities including a leisure centre with pool. There will be a private bar available for Stabcon attendees. Stabcon attendance is restricted to over 18’s.
There is a Yahoo E-Group for Stabcon "Stabconinfo" - which is available to Stabcon attendees and prospective attendees. This is used to circulate information and to provide a source of forms, maps and directions etc.
It might be necessary for us to put a limit on the number of attendees we accept at Stabcon 2009 although we do not expect that to be a problem. We would like to encourage everyone to register beforehand to avoid any difficulties.
