Does anyone know where I can purchase extra pieces for this game? I could reall use some more AA Guns and Factory pieces among other things...
I've searched through the forums on BGG and all over the net, but havent found anything good. I'm pretty much just looking for small bags of pieces Any smaller sites that sell 40th Anniversary pieces in bulk?
Thanks!

There is no official source for buying them. Ebay is your best bet.

Do you know Xeno Games? They can send you all units in A&A like style. Go to this link for order replacement. (sorry for my orrible english)
If you want more quality for your units visit Italeri and look for 1:72 models.

Hello, Guiseppe
thanks for the post. I have the Axis and Allies 2004 revised addition. I would like to order additional pieces Do you by chance know which colors/trees are the best matches for USSR, Germany, Great Brittan, Japan, and United States. the color trees they choose from have multiple shades of colors etc. just wondering thanks

Dear Charley, the units colors available on xeno aren't the same of A&AR. However i buyed brown units for USSR, black units for GER, orange units for JAP, summit green (really bad choice!) for USA and white for UK. When I see this orrible contrast on war board i recolor all units with acrilic paint in the right colors.
You are from USA: try to contact Hasbro Customer Service. In USA and Canada is available a replacement parts service.

You can purchase replacement pieces for a lot of games, including Axis and Allies 1942 Revised at:
www.historicalboardgaming.com.
It may be cheaper to simply buy a brand new game, if only to get the pieces fromt that game, depending on how much you need to buy.
They ship right away.
