I just got permission from the copyright holder of the images to make the files for this version available for download!!
To accommodate the artscow crowd, I'm using the original images to redoing them as poker size (2.5" x 3.5") at full 300 dpi using the original images.
Since this will take a little time, I wanted to ask if people would rather have them done with a white border as shown in the image here or with a full bleed.
I will continue working on other aspects of the cards, once I get to finishing suspect cards, I will use the results of this poll to determine the layout (even if there's only one response!!).
Many thanks to Jim Ferreira for kind permission to use his images!

The files are almost done (only about 5 more cards to layout)!
I'll leave the poll up for the rest of today (Wednesday 6/3/09) and start doing the output tomorrow. Unless there is a last minute upset, it's looking like the white border crowd is winning out!
Everything should be ready to upload by the end of the week and hopefully approved by early next week.

Wow, white border is winning by a landslide, so white border it is!
I'll begin the output process making them all 780 x 1081 as specified on the Artscow website.
They should be available soon! (I'll make the artwork that I used for the box and rules available in another file too for those interested in them).

Why are there 2 "O"s in deck 1?
I think I figured it all out. I used the custom decks that have multiple backings. I found the rules online.
Do you know of a scan of the investigation pad?
The rules also say 40 chips, do they need to be anything specific or just any tokens?
Thanks!

Thanks, what about the 2 Os or the investigation sheet?

IIRC, one of them has an umlaut diacritic ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umlaut_(diacritic) ) above the O so they are treated as two different characters. Apparently, the game needed one more character than the English alphabet offers.

As near as I can tell, the number and distribution of the investigation cards mandates that the number of suspect cards be evenly divisible by 3, thus the need for the umlauted o to serve as the 27th character.

though technically they could have all been uploaded to a single file "page" with the 5 different files (or even better all in a single file unless anyone still uses dial up? )
