About FANG
FANG are a friendly and informal gaming group in Nottingham made of people found through Board Game Geek. This is our second attempt to organise a larger event and once again depend on you to make it a success.

The £4 charge covers the cost of hiring the room and providing refreshments - we are a "not for profit" group.

About Breckles Hall
Breckles Hall is a new extension to the All Hallows Church hall. It has tables and chairs enough to fit 30 people and is also fitted out to be a basketball court.

It is a clean room with access to the main kitchen and access to the church’s toilets.

Unlike the lounge it does not have comfy padded chairs. Instead it has the hard plastic stackable chairs found in classrooms. It may be sensible to bring a cushion to save on a sore behind!

The venue has a car park attached as well as allowing on-street parking in the vicinity.

Outside location from Google Streetview.

Undecided? Check out this GeekList for what happened last time!

Sadly will not be able to make it, but all the best to those that can.

For anyone who has not been, its a great day, and I would recommend it.

Who would be up for starting a Descent: road to legend campaign. ( http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/29298)
I'm happy to DM it

Also I'll be bringing my housemate, he'll be playing in the road to legend too..
So that's me as DM and Rich and Kris, possibly leigh? as Heroes so far...

the box says 2-5 players so I guess that means we have 1-2 spaces free.
One of the good things about the road to legend is they designed it so you have 4 heroes regardless of the number of players, so people can join in or drop out and their hero will just get played by someone else..

I've been getting the latest FAQ's etc. and now I'm in the mood for playing. Is anyone interested in a game of Descent before the next FANG meeting?

I can't make it, mate - it's my daughter's birthday party. Plus, Jonathan's got his kids that weekend, so neither of us will be able to attend this one.

I'm a definite and have another as a maybe so far. I'll ask a couple more who I think might be interested tomorrow.

To anybody who didn't manage to make it along to the last event, I'd recommend it. It was a fantastic day.

I'm a maybe for this: I enjoyed myself last time and would really like to come, but have a lot else on my plate, so I'll have to wait and see until closer to the date. If I do come along I have another maybe who is keen!

Is it too early to see what people might be bringing to play?

I'm keen to try Cutthroat Caverns (which I have here, unplayed as yet) but can more or less bring anything from my collection.

I should probably also point out that we aim to be there from Lunch 'til about 5-6.

Im still good for the 11th, I can make it at 12 now as well.

I can bring or play anything from my list (which is a bit short!)

Cutthroat Caverns looks good.wouldnt mind trying that out if you need a player.

I wouldn't mind trying Last Night on Earth: The Zombie Game if possible. And leigh what about Small World?

I'll be bringing Dominion, Puerto Rico (again), and possibly A Touch of Evil: The Supernatural Game.

Yep...happy to bring Small World, all the Vinci lovers out there can tell me how watered down and childish it is in comparison! ;-)
