Dear fellow geeks!

Something I came across quite some time ago: We in Germany had - and still have - the Mickey Mouse Magazine, where there are Disney Comics and something to do for the children, that is they could work with scissors and glue to make their own cardboard cars, houses and, yes, games.

The website www.seite42.de has them old models online for print, cut, glue and play.

There we have for example the car-racing game

And thats the balloon race

Most are obviously roll and move but some seem to be different...

detective Game

Learning chess

Roulette - you can double your pocket money with only one roll...

Ufo dexterity game

Treasure cove - Memory and dice game

I hope Your family enjoys it and wish everybody Good Luck and Good Cut.

(Obviously the instructions are in German. But if anybody needs help or a translation I will be happy to be at Your service.)

Here the link: http://www.seite42.de/e_index_beilagen.htm

How about the Wolf and the piglets - You even get two sets of rules, the advanced rules are with trap cards:

I got two questions:
1. Were those games former inserts to the magazine?
2. Does anybody remember the game with Donald Duck and his family on the baloon race, where there were winds (moving two spaces specified direction), some rocky mountains (crush and loss of the game), some birds (defecting the baloon?) Tha game had a grid I believe 12 squares "high" - as hor starters you had to roll a dice to check what is your starting height. I believe there were also some sand-bags tokens... Does it ring a bell? Does anyone know this game? Does anyone know where could I get it?

Yes. The name of the website is "Seite 42" = Page 42, the inserts location

One of the pictures above is the balloon race with dice and lifting and lowering your balloon by means of sandbags. No Mountains and birds but obstacles...

There is a lift game too if You want to look it up.

The Ducks and Mickey must cross the mountains by means of an aerial ropeway.

Nope... Neither one of those.

I believe it was inside for some Disney comic book magazine - either about Mickey, or "Donald Duck magazine"
(and thanks for the geek mail, but no need - I subscribed this thread, maybe someone will post the game I was thinking about in the future)

Sorry but I looked everything up, nothing remotely in that range except the two posted ones, one with balloons and one with mountains, but none with both...

I was just starting to make printed things when I made this, but it seemed to me that the front & back scans didn't match very well. I may have just not known what I was doing.
The game itself was cute & made me very happy.
One of the small problems I had with this site was that since the scans are sometimes done by different people, the resolution wasn't always the same and so half of the game would be crisp & the other fuzzy. Most of them are scanned by the same person, so it was only an occasional problem.
Thanks Xeenu for posting this, I had forgotten how much fun I had with some of these.
