Hello there!
Reiner Knizia's third game for the iPhone and iPod touch is coming soon and this time it's Robot Master!
FEATURES
* Solo play: compete against players from around the world as you strive to be the best on the online High Score table!
* Versus play: challenge a friend (Pass'n Play) or the AI to go head to head. This time, one player takes the columns, and the other takes the rows. The player with the lowest scoring line loses!

Re: Reiner Knizia's Robot Master for iPhone/iPod Touch coming soon!
Just a follow up post with an explanation of the rules, from the iTunes game description:
How does it play? Take turns placing numbered cards down on a 5 x 5 grid to score lines both vertically and horizontally. The scores for each line are determined by the sum of the cards. Here's an example:
(1 + 2 + 4 + 5 + 0) would score 12 points.
Sounds easy, right? Well, here are a couple of twists:
First, pairs of cards anywhere in the line count 10x their face value. Here's an example:
(1 + 2 + 4 + 2 + 0) would score 25 points.
Second, triple cards anywhere in the line count 100 points regardless of face value. Here's an example:
(0 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 0) would score 103 points.
That's all there is to it but remember that your final score is only your lowest scoring line, and you want the highest score possible!
So if you're playing solo play and you got lines of: 100, 79, 150, 99, 10, etc
Your final score would still only be 10 because that's your lowest scoring line
So build evenly and don't neglect weak lines!

At this early stage, I'm pretty much a sucker for anything affiliated with Reiner Knizia that's on the iPhone. Sign me up.

Awesome! I'm already addicted to Poison on the iPhone. KoC is good too. Now with 3 Knizia titles, Zooloretto and Croke - Tabletop strategy games are really starting to make their mark in the iPhone platform.

Also there is Mining Bots (Hey That's My Fish clone) with 3 jumps allowed per bot so has a tad of a twist to it. Kolonists (Settlers of Catan Clone) but without the dice rolling or number placement so twist once again to that game.

I just did a search for Mining Bots and don't see it.

Boardgaming on the iPhone is getting better and better, without a doubt. But let's bring on the A-list Knizia games! (I'm looking at you, Ra and LotR:Confrontation.) Even some of the simpler top sellers like Battle Line, Ingenious and Modern Art would be hot. They should be quicker to code as well.
