#2 As much as it pains me, this game might not be for you. Yes, a game I think almost anyone in this hobby could like isn't for you. You may want to stop and reevaluate your life and try and figure out where you went wrong. Abandon hope now.
#3 "Do you mind shuffling cards?"
A) I love shuffling cards. The way they slide through my fingers, their gentle resistance during a riffle shuffle, the glide of the gloss across the table... What did you ask again? Go to #5.
B) Um, it's fine, I guess. Go to #4.
C) I hate shuffling so much that I bought one of those automatic card shufflers that murders decks of cards. Go to #2.
#4 "How long do you like your games to be?"
A) If it isn't at least 3 hours, why bother? I ONLY enjoy games that are long. Go to #2.
B) I enjoy games that are short to intermediate in length. Go to #6.
#5 Don't finish reading this paragraph before you place an order for this incredibly innovative game. Have you bought it yet? Why not, for its excellent replayability and mix of strategy and tactics is excellent? How about now? You aren't even listening to me anymore, or you? #6 "Is 30-45 bucks too much to play for a fantastic game?"
A) There are only several hundred beautifully illustrated cards in that box! Such a ripoff for an incredibly fun game. I refuse to pay more than ten bucks on any card game. Go to #2.
B) I love games, but that's too much money without playing it first. Go to #7.
C) A game with tremendous replay value is definitely worth that. Go to #5.
D) It's worth it, but I have some friends that already own it. Go to #7.
#7 Before you buy it, give it a try first. It's an awesome game, and you'll find out soon enough. If you have a gamer buddy that always brings his copy, you may not need to buy your own. I suspect, however, that once the addiction hits you you'll want you own copy.
