So awesome
Cain is seriously good, love that blind jump. Someone XO's you, you scout the deck and check there is a terrible destination, then force the jump to it
And treachery cards are certainly looking interesting, secret cylons who ended up with some skill cards secretly can throw them in and play a reckless card themselves. I wonder if avoiding using reckless will be safer?
and we now know what executing means!

yeah, I just went there on a whim and it was up!
oh and also if you notice the piloting token in the image at the top, you will see that Kat appears to be one of the new characters.

So we now know 4 new characters: Cain, Cavil, Caprica Six and Kat. Wonder what the three last ones will be... Hope Leoben's in.

I must say I love the way execution is done: reveal Cylon immediately, if human, morale loss and the player chooses a new character and discards his hand. However, I wonder if the new character has new loyalty cards? And it seems like there is a mechanism to make the humans lose if they keep executing everybody.

Also that there's a "Scar" token.

OMG, this is going to be AWESOME! Airlock is going to be much more powerful than just keeping a suspected cylon player in the brig but can also be used by a very devious unsuspected cylon to start airlocking human players....

Can anyone make out what the icon is next to the strength number on the Broadcast Location card?

Seems like a "nuclear" icon, I was supposing it was the icon corresponding to the "reckless" checks, although I don't see why it would be such an icon.
By the way, a new icon representing the BSG has appeared at the bottom of the card. I assume that means this card can only be played if the humans are in the BSG and not on New Caprica?

no idea.
Could be related to when humans discard it, might just be a reminder that this skill card does something special in a skill check when counting numbers (since you generally ignore the game text when counting up a skill check)

that is just the pegasus expansion icon.

I'm guessing that's just the expansion icon.

It's probably just the pegasus expansion icon Gary, if you think about it a minute...

So Assassination Plot! That is a nice crisis card, Cylon President can choose to execute the Admiral on a whim, or a Cylon Helo can insist that we do that option

It looks like that symbol that appears on some of the New Caprica stuff, right? It's like a ship - a round circle with a fin on top plus two wings on the bottom.

Oh - so someone can play a "Reckless" card to say, reduce the difficulty by 4. But then a trechery card can be played where it has a negative effect for getting that bonus. I wonder if the Trechery card gets played openly as well.

It looks as if the Treachery card is played into the check, so if there is an Investigative Committee it would be open, otherwise not.

I would guess not; the treachery card appears to get played as a normal card in the skill check (and so I suppose its strength number counts as well):
Quote: Such recklessness has its risks, however, and doing so opens the door to various dastardly responses from the Cylons (or the Destiny Deck); a variety of treachery skill cards have effects that respond specifically to reckless skill checks, and if these cards appear in a reckless check, their devastating text applies!

Maybe it's the New Caprican flag, or something...?

I do think they should come back after being killed with new loyalty cards. Would explain why they need more loyalty cards in this expansion to allow the players to get new ones when returning to the board.
Would be interesting to see if that happens or not, would make sense as the new character coming back after the previous one was killed is not the same character, so who knows where that characters loyalties are.
Also with Cain you could start the game with a blind jump, then get someone to brig you so you can kill yourself and come back as someone else with a once per game power

Maybe if you get executed as a human, you just add your loyalty cards to the loyalty deck and then draw new cards? This way, this would mean that by executing a human character, you could actually get a Cylon as his replacement. ^^

Interesting preview. I see the need for clarification on a few issues:
1. When using Blind Jump do you still roll for population loss if the jump track is in the blue? How does this interact with a mission specialist?
2. If the President is also the Admiral can she choose the second option on Assassination Plot? Also if a player has less than three cards does he still get three Treachery cards or does he just draw equal to his discards?

No.
Very good question.
Quote: 2. If the President is also the Admiral can she choose the second option on Assassination Plot? Also if a player has less than three cards does he still get three Treachery cards or does he just draw equal to his discards?
Yes. You can always choose either option, unless it says you can't.
You still get three.
Hm, I wonder what order you discard/draw in if you are both the president and the admiral. Do you discard/draw/discard/draw, or discard/discard/draw/draw?
