Confirmed Players Grinning One ianwright seiyaaa swgod98 billytea saikotanuki Butter Lemon
The Rules You have to own a copy of the game and the expansion. We'll only be posting card titles, not text.
This will follow the well established rules of the previous 32 games. If you need to refresh your memory, please visit an earlier game or ask me in GeekMail.
Pictures can be found here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/42419
Pegasus This will be the 7-player variant of Pegasus. If no one selects a Cylon by Player 7's turn - they are a Cylon.
Destination will be New Caprica.
Once we have a full compliment of 7, we will randomize turn order and begin character selection.

Re: BSG 33 - Battlestar Triangulum
A question about player order. We have fairly wide global dispersal here, with the US, Europe and Australia/East Asia all represented. In some other games where that's happened, player order has been arranged geographically. Will we do that here?

Due to the increased amount of interrupts in Pegasus, I don't think it would appreciably decrease any downtime that may occur. That being said, if all seven players prefer to have order according to geography, I can arrange that.

Re: BSG 33 - Battlestar Triangulum
Happy either way but my experience is it's more up to the players rather than the geographical arrangement to help speed things along. Leaving COs and trying to check in at least twice a day (not to mention constant refreshing while at work ) are definitely encouraged.

I don't think it should matter that much, especially since it's possible that some of us may be online at times you wouldn't "expect" if you'd look at their time zones.

I'm fine either way, especially if everyone else is. Another question: for private mod-player discussion, do we use email or geekmail? I prefer email, as I rarely check my geekmail.

We have four people from game IX here, don't we? Two from Japan, and two from Australia. (And yet, the game's been named after a constellation of the northern hemisphere. Oh, the marginalisation.)

Well, clearly. He is French, after all.
Seriously, though, by memory this is the only number that is also the title of a BSG card. May I suggest we work in something to do with "Thirty-Three" into the title?

Go ahead and work out a different title with the other players if you prefer something else. I didn't put much thought into the name and just wanted to get the game off the ground.

"BSG 33 - Reset the Clock" perhaps?

Why not "Start the Clock"?

It's "Start the clock", just as Marcus said.
So, BSG 33 - "Start the Clock" ?

Is there significance to this name? I'm not really too concerned with the name we use, but I don't see a problem with Triangulum...
If we make a vote on this, I'd like to play an IC card to determine where everyone's loyalty lies!!
Looking forward to starting this game

Spoilers for the series (probably unnecessary):
Spoiler (mouseover to reveal):
In the episode entitled Thirty-Three, a Cylon fleet found the humans every 33 minutes. I think they jumped through about 200 jumps with it chasing them. This is the inspiration for the Cylon Attack Card "Thirty-three".
After every jump, after accounting for all ships, they would start the clock timing down from 33 minutes and wait to see if they'd managed to lose the Cylons with their various tactics. As already stated, they'd say "Start the clock" when they reset the clock countdown.
As I'm not a player in this game -- unfortunately for me -- it's up to you to decide what title to give it. But my initial suggestion was based on what I'd thought was said, which has been corrected.
