The purpose of the changes is to simplify game play and provide greater opportunities to develop the western half of the board. They consist of an alternative board with three additional hexes, two additional russet hexes for use with this board only, and one rule change.

Playing the Original Game:
If you want to play the game using the original rules, use the original map and play as per above with the following amendments:
· Use the side of the board with fewer hexes and not featuring Totland.
· Small stations may not be ignored on company runs. Halts may still be ignored, however.
