I believe they said it will be returning (though in a different room this year). But I've not yet seen an announcement on which games will be in it.

Hot Games will be in the Elm and Pecan rooms - right across from the Game Library in the Chinaberry room.
Here is the current list of Hot Games, subject to change:

I went out there in search of experience, to taste and to touch as a man can, before he repents...

The two I'm really hoping to play are:
At the Gates of Loyang Dungeon Lords

The Hot Games room was very successful. And this year, we've made a much larger effort to get more 'splainers. But I will say, that it would make me so happy, if more people would return the 'splaining favor. If someone teaches you a game, please consider 'splaining it to the next group, or perhaps helping out with another 'splain somewhere else. It really does a *lot* to add to the ambiance of the convention.

Decent selection. No BGG game?
Isn't Elm + Pecan smaller than last year? Or am I misremembering those rooms.

Nope, now we have 12 tables in the 2 rooms instead of 8 tables in part of the Oak ballroom.

I plan on bringing my own copies of Loyang, Dungeon Lords, Farmers of the Moor, Tobago, Factory Manager and maybe others. Should I play them only in the Hot Games room or does it really matter?
And I may not be AnakinOU, but I do a lot of teaching and I'll be willing to teach at BGG as well.

I found him on Saturday, I think, and asked him to explain Space Alert. He had lost his voice and was very hoarse. He still agreed to teach the game and did so in the manner that the rule book was written, with a great amount of enthusiasm and humour. Between sips of a warm beverage he painted the picture of our situation, made the experience fun and still ranks as one of my favourite experiences of the con. Even though our ship died a horrible, horrible death.

But I will take you up on that offer for some or all of those games, if I can find you.

I will also have a copy of loyang with me that I will be willing to teach.
I can probably teach Dungeon Lords..since I have read the rules like 30 times hoping there are some copies to buy at the con.

I'll see what I can do. I didn't go crazy and import a stack-o-Essen-releases this year, so I won't be teaching a whole lot. I *have* played Factory Manager and Carson City, though, and I've printed out the rulebook to Dungeon Lords...

I also am ready to teach a number of these. (We'll see how ready when we get to the games. ) John
P.S. it sounds to me like we're going to have a lot of people this year. Please, everyone, try not to spread out. If 3 people playing a game spread out and occupy a 8-seat table, we're going to be very crowded. Make friends!

But this isn't saying that White Moon won't be available at BGG.con. It's just that I think the hot games room should have priority for new full releases over expansions.
