Is it possible to use indirect fire in this game?
Can you fire with a mortar or an ordnance to a target not in LOS using a leader as spotter?
In case, which order do you have to play? A Fire order to the Leader or to the Mortar?
Thanks in advance

Yes, under variant rule V8:Mortar Spotting.

When you activate a Mortar Spotter (a Leader declared as such at the beginning of the scenario) you can fire with up to the three mortars assigned to him.

The LOS can be traced either by the spotter or the mortar.
The range is always messured by the mortar.

I think that would be out of the scale of the battlefield.

On a map 300m X 450m having an artillery firing from some kilometers afar, that would be an hyperbole.

Like taking a plane to cross a street. laugh

What do you mean? Radios are used in games all the time for offboard artillery?

To answer the question: No. You need a leader with LOS to the target hex. (It really IS indirect fire already, the guns are just off the map.)

Or, to put it another way, a leader MUST be a spotter for off-board ordnance.

I think the OP may mean on-board ordnance, and the answer is no.
You must have LOS for this (apart from the aforementioned mortar variant).
