Thank you for your kind words (and your even kinder tips). I shall be passing your praise along to Centurion Maximus and his tireless men. I hope they will march again in the near future - there are many boardgames that remain unconquered.

Dear Mya
Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. has for some time been engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing and marketing: models and miniatures known as PLAYMOBIL®; and associated products and in the course of this business has acquired and registered a large number of copyrights and other intellectual property rights.
The webpage http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/469324 for which we believe you are responsible has recently been bought to our attention. Having checked your website it is apparent that your review is based entirely upon the PLAYMOBIL® product which is owned and controlled by Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. and its official licensee. Therefore it is our belief that the placement of your game on the internet constitutes an infringement of Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. intellectual property rights. Specifically, your activities have given rise to two causes of action, namely passing off and breach of copyright.
We take this opportunity to emphasise how seriously Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. considers breaches of its intellectual property rights. It is the policy of Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. to always enforce its rights against any party infringing its intellectual property rights by means of appropriate legal proceedings. However, in the present circumstances we may be prepared to refrain from taking such proceedings against you if we receive from you within fourteen (14) days of the date of this letter your written undertakings, in a form acceptable to us, that you will:
immediately cease and desist from any activity which infringes Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. intellectual property rights and remove this review from the site and
confirm by return that you will not infringe Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co. intellectual property rights at any time in the future.
We accordingly look forward to hearing from you. If you are in any doubt as to the content of this letter we recommend that you seek independent legal advice.
Yours faithfully
Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co.

told me all i need to know before buying a game. production quality is evident, answers the question 'is it fun?', addresses potential problems. imho spouting the rules in detail to increase word length is a bit of a cheat, and usually hides any meaningful analysis.
to OP: you are sick. and i hope you never get well

You know, I have reviewed like 20 games or so, all of them combined do not equal the awesomness of this one.

Wow, thanks everyone.

I'll agree this is perhaps not the most in-depth review on the Geek, but I do hope it manages to convey my affection for both Pandemic and Playmobil. Centurion Maximus has been getting quite puffed up with all your praise and is demanding he be allowed to immediately march upon Arkham Horror, but I think we'd better work our way up to that. The might of the Roman Army is legendary, but then so are the Elder Gods.
