Okay, so how many is in a "Unit"? Is that $30 a meeple? Or do they come in the bagged sets of 7 8 (I can't count! ) that you show above?

Do you have them in wood? If so, you have yourself a customer.

BGG doesn't, but you can find woodem meeples here
I imagine that BGG wanted a more exclusive item (metal meeples), and not something that a bunch of other places carry (wooden meeples).
The metal ones look very cool, especially the blue. If I was more into Carcassonne and I had the money, I'd pick up a set.
msbtch2u wrote: No Green? That's just wrong! BGG is limited to the colors they come in. Contacting the makers of the metal meeples about color selection might make more colors availible. Also, I dunno if they are painted or perhaps anodized, that can make a differance in color availibility too.

Its a shame they got advertising imprinted.

Yeah, too bad they weren't brand-marked on the bottom of their feet instead.

Ah ok.
I thought there might not be a green anodization option availible, but looks like there is according to this page (first hit on google when I was looking for anodizing colors): http://www.electropolishingsystems.com/aa2.htm
So I imagine contacting the makers might be the next step if someone wants green.

I am available for hire to use these in my games. My fee is $0.49 per meeple/per game.

Because meeples should hurt when you chuck them at other players in frustration.

I smell a bonus for an upcoming anniversary edition of [INSERT GAME HERE]...

Agreed. Without the big meeple (He goes by Bruno in our group), these are cute, but not really useful.

Who knew that these meeples weighed so much.

I was curious to see what the shipping cost would be if I ordered a sample set (qty 1). This is the message I got.
"Notice: We are unable to ship USPS as the package weight exceeds the 70 pound limit, please select another shipping method."
The sample set contains 5 metal meeples....and weighs more than 70 pounds?!?
I know it's just an error but it's still funny.

One ton of Dark Matter weighs more than a thousand tons.

I mark on the bottom would get the manufacturer's name out there without being obnoxious about it. (Think about it: Farmers augmenting their income with billboards is nothing new.)
I would love to get some of these, but not with the logo so annoyingly on the front. (Or it the back? That must make meeple cocktail parties a very confusing affair.)

Not just wrong, it's a missed sale on my part. I had heard of these in some podcasts and thought about getting a set. But without a green option I have no desire.
