You need ... a way better german tanslation of the rulebook!

After reading it, i think one could play the game. But you have to invest a lot of time just understanding what's meant by a lot of the rules.

I don't checked the english rules, hope is that these are better...

It`s true. Some of our friends mentioned the same Pointing by German native speaker which part of manual makes problems would be invaluable and let us improve it.

Furtunately no one complained English version
(Polish one also works quite well ) )

You should make the game that you want.

I think this is important any time you're doing any artistic work, and ultimately, that's what this is.

Is it really so dichotomic? This evening we`ve checked some author`s propositions. I won, so I`m satisfied Author is satisfied becose the play was emotional. The problem is: to change something? not to change? to try to separate both versions of game? How?

To eat the cake and to have the cake

The perfect solution:
include both modes in the same box.

Double the fun, the audience, and the possibilities.

Maybe including a few elements not used in all modes.

The box is already full. 95% of capacity are components, only 5% is air.

Aggressive game.

Box is too small. Inside of the box in not well designed and offers not enough space.

What I need are separate tokens for each good that one posses instead of using cards for tokens – it takes too much space on table and throw away valuable cards like Gloria. I use green cubes for herbs, brown cubes for ore, red cubes for tincture (red tincture makes gold), black cubes for metal and yellow cubes for gold.

New buildings - storage for goods, more cards on hand etc.

More interaction options would be nice, like new type of cards that one can play like Gloria card for instant effect on opponents - steal/discard cards, slow down movement, steal/destroy goods, temporary damage building, lose/steal fame etc. Super Gloria for 2 fame and cost 7-8 is good idea I think.

Finaly more goods would be nice for more ways to win. I think about additional type of a tincture (so it would be white and red) so player could produce not only gold, but also silver. For example in alembic player decide to produce red or white tincture. Than in labrium he can produce silver from metal and white tincture or gold from red tinctur and metal. When seling silver player receives both cards and fame, but less when selling gold. Like 2 fame + 2 cards in taberna and 4 fame + 3 cards in donarium. Also selling white tincture in taberna would give 1 fame + one card. So silver way gives more cards and gold way gives more fame.

In this case when blocking alembic or labrium by spirit, player who moves golden figure decides what cant be produced in alembic or labrium and place specific token with golden figure. For example spirit on labrium with gold token blocks gold production, but not silver.

Just my recent ideas, i didnt tested it

All this would make 4 ways to victory:
1) gold
2) silver
3) domo + gloria/supergloria
4) no labrium, selling metal and tincture

One more thing - The Fest is a very good mini expansion.

Very nice game overall. Gratuluje.
