1.) For the 'suggestion' spell, when the card says you must pay the cost of the monster or withdraw it, does 'withdraw' mean just for that round of battle, or is the monster then 'spent' and can't be used again in subsequent battle rounds that year?

2.) For the 'illusion' spell, if the 'imaginary adventurer' isn't eliminated in the round in which the spell is cast, does he persist and stay in the line-up of adventurers in subsequent rounds of battle?

3.) For the 'invisibility' spell, when the card says the wizard can't be harmed, he can still get fatigued though, yes?

In my last game, all 3 questions came up, so we guessed that for 1.), the answer was no, for 2.) it was 'yes', and for 3.) it was 'yes' - but did we do it correctly?

Answers with citations pointing to actual rules preferred over mere opinions.

Re: 3 Questions about Spells
1. Just that one round. It returns face-up to your dungeon and the monster can be used in a subsequent round

2. Yes. For example, if you delayed a turn with a Slime, the illusion would still be there.

3. Since the Invisibility card has 0 fatigue on it, this should not be an issue.

In my last game, all 3 questions came up,

As has been pointed out Invisibility has no Fatigue so thus the situation you mentioned is not possible. I'm going to go out on a limb however and try to help you save face.

Did you misinterpret the card when it says "this round" to mean this year?

Each year has 4 fighting rounds and you'll notice the invisibility spell says until the end of this round. Misinterpreting "round" to be "year" and keeping invisibility on in subsequent rounds is the only way I can think of that the situation you mentioned might come up. In this case I just clarified what round meant and everything should be cleared up.

If not I would like to hear how an invisible Wizard came to be given fatigue (in which case by the spirit of the game he should probably receive it)

Page 19, column 2, 2nd paragraph.

This is in the Official FAQ

As noted above, this card has no fatigue and lasts for a single round of combat.

I think the more probable possibility is that the OP didn't realize that fatigue is variable based upon the symbols on the combat card. This is where the combat training does a disservice since it always has 2 applied.
