I'm pleased to announce that we have confirmed dates and venue for Wellycon 2010.
Wellycon 2010 10 - 10 Saturday August 14 10 - 6 Sunday August 15
St Pats College Kilbirnie Wellignton Saturday afternoon 2.30 - 4.00 : Kids time, special section and session for the family ($2 only). Saturday evening 7.30 - 8.30 : Wits and wages team tournament using New Zealand designed questions and the Kids version rules.
Sunday midday 12.00 noon - 12.20pm : Buy, sell and trade all your designer games
Register for either the Saturday, Sunday or the weekend by confirming your attendance in this thread and you will recieve a free Wellycon custom die. Last years dice sold out quickly, so registration is a great way to guarantee you get one of these hot commodities. It will also get you a customised namebadge for the weekend.
Although the venue is the same as the past you can expect a different setup and some improvements to the venue. More space, more people, more gaming.
Last year we had more than 300 games, but as always if you get in touch with me we will make sure a particular game is there for you to play.
Ian, Peter and myself look forward to seeing you at Wellycon 2010. TO clarify any further details you can contact us on wellycon@gmail.com.
Thanks The Wellycon team

Can't wait! I will definitely be there for the Saturday, and maybe Sunday arvo. Lets hope there's no burglar or fire alarms to interrupt the gaming this year!

You can count me in, of course. I'm not sure what my domestic commitments will be but hopefully I'll be there for most of the time. The Saturday Wits&Wagers competition sounds fun too.

Sam and I will be there. We'll try and get some Adventurers sessions in during the family time- I reckon it's a great family game. And I'll bring Happy Sheep, our new light family filler that's simple to learn and very funny to play. Woot! Happiness is Wellycon.

Brilliant to hear so many out of towners are looking at coming in for it, I appreciate the support. Adventurers ... I can't wait, apparently they put Indiana Jones in a bottle and sprayed it all over the board.

Count me in. Just moved from Auckland to sleepy Levin and am missing the fun of playing a good game or two.

Anybody in Welly got a spare bed that Sam and I could crash in? Only needs to be one- we'd share. No problem if not, but figured I may as well ask...

Hi Minty,
I've checked with Peter as per my geekmail and it should be fine for you to stay over at his place.
Cheers.

Eric, you are a treasure. And you should be buried. No, wait- what I mean is "thanks a lot!" Hurrah- two months to gaming overload!
