Hey board game geeks!
Our company has licensed a number of popular games for iPhone and iPad development. The first of these to be released will be Dr. Reiner Knizia's "Ra" and "Medici", both slated to be released in July.
We are looking for a small number of volunteers for closed beta testing on iPhone and iPad. Serious requests only, please (by which we mean we are looking for people who are willing to put in the time to provide significant constructive feedback.)
If we accept you into the beta program, you will likely be invited to beta test future titles as well.
If you're interested, send a private message to our BGG account (codito) telling us why you think you would make a great beta tester.
Update: Thanks to the overwhelming response we received over the weekend, we feel we have enough candidates for our beta program now. We'll be contacting the people we've selected in the next couple of days.
For everyone else, stay tuned for release announcements and ads coming in the next 3 to 6 weeks!

Re: iPhone / iPad beta testers wanted
But wait, if I am not mistaken, for any app outside of the store, you can only test it by (a) procuring an official developer iPhone, or (b) jail breaking you iPhone or iPad. Breaking your device voids warranty.

How do you beta test an iphone app?

Would this be another case of "Canadians don't bother because it'll only work for people with access to the US App Store"?

And if you think I've not seen Canadian developers with promo codes that don't work in the Canadian app store...
Like this one.

He's looking for beta testers. You won't have to go near the app store.

Re: iPhone / iPad beta testers wanted
Yes, just to confirm, what we're talking about here is distributing an "Ad Hoc" build to our registered beta testers.
That's Apple's mechanism whereby pre-release apps can be installed on a limited number of specified devices (hence the closed nature of our beta program, and the suggestion that beta testers will be invited to beta test future titles as well.)
So, no promo codes or App Store access required here.
Hope that helps, and thanks for the interest so far! We'll update this thread when we feel like we've had enough submissions.

Just in case people didn't catch the update to the original posting, we received enough responses over the weekend that we feel we've got a good group to choose from. Thanks to everyone who commented or responded here.

I'm sorry I didn't get in on the beta, but this is very exciting news!
Both Ra and Medici coming this July!!!

EDIT: Note to the developer ... if one of your testers from here turns out to be a dud, I'd like to be considered next on the list. I spend a considerable amount of time gaming on my iPhone and iPad, and Ra is a favorite of mine. I've also been wanting to learn Medici, so that might be a good perspective for testing as well.
Thanks!

Hey folks, just a quick sneak peek at Medici for iPad. We plan to submit to Apple soon and will be making an announcement when it is available in the App Store.
The game features what we think (and our early viewers have told us) is some great theming and graphics, intuitive game play, and a range of AI opponents to choose from.
iPhone version and network gaming support coming soon.
Ra is still under development and now slated for an August release, as we spent much of our time in the past weeks making sure Medici would knock your socks off!
Also, we've launched our new website: sageboardgames.com
and, of course, you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

The official announcement is coming soon, but we wanted you all to hear it here first:
Medici for iPad is now available in the App Store!
We hope you will enjoy it and submit a positive rating/review.
We're working hard on version 1.1 and should also be submitting the iPhone version to Apple in the next couple of days.
Spread the word and we promise we'll keep bringing you great board games for your mobile device(s)!
