Now who are these five?
Come, come, all children who love fairy tales.

Played this a couple of times. It's, in fact, really good.
Perhaps like Thunderstone, you can't buy VP with money. With the money, you employ soldiers, and the soldiers can, when played during your action phase, create "attack points" with which you claim the VP cards (different russian cities). Each turn you can perform an "attack" using all the attack points you have played, or have lying in front of you. The tank cards (action cards) can be placed beside you (out of your deck) like in Tanto Cuore, but once you've downed a town, they go back to your deck, and you have to replace them again, which is hard, as they require 2 action points to be placed in the first place.
There is a big drawback - the card design sucks. It's next to impossible to differentiate the money cards from the action cards, before you start recognizing the images. That's really bad, actually. Also, the art is deterring - it's just one step from porno, which is going too far.
But the coolest thing is the mere theme that scantilly clad moe-nazi-mushumes go to war against Russia. This game can't be released in any country in the world except Japan. Jeez. I thought I'd pass on this one, but I don't think I'll be able to.
Edit: Numerous typos.

So, is this game similar in idea to Thunderstone? You build a deck to attack the towns (dungeon) until Moscow comes out? Whoever takes down Moscow wins, or does it just give you bigger VPs to total in to you final score?
I'm a big fan of Thunderstone, even for all of its drawbacks. If this is anything like it, I'm interested (and not just for the scantily clad officers ^_^)

In Barbarossa you build a deck to attack towns. a lot of cards come with an "attack strenght" attribute. there's one Town target card deck. you can attack the card on top of it and if your cards attack strenght equals the town's defence you get the card. each town comes with VPs. if Moscow falls the game ends and the player with the most VPs wins. Moscow just gives you bigger VPs.

Similar in effect. Thunderstone there is a dungeon deck full of monsters. You build a deck with heroes who attack the monsters in the hopes they can kill them and take them as victory points. When the Thunderstone comes out, the game is over and the person with the highest VP score wins. If you get the Thunderstone, it's just more VP.
Very similar concept, I think.
Thanks. Would love to see a full explaination of play soon. ^_^

Although the interface of the website is unfriendly to non-Chinese user, just send them a mail. The owner is a German.
EDIT: It's said in other thread. Order from amiami ( http://www.amiami.jp/shop/?set=english) in Japan should be easier.

Yep amiami do indeed do international shipping, but be aware they currently have this listed as on back order, so it says to allow 1-2 weeks before they dispatch the game.

They do, but a friend was just notified that his "back order" is ready and he paid up to get the game. I have generally found the 1~2 weeks to be the outside range of when they get inventory again. Usually much quicker than that.

That's good news.
I think I may well be paying them a visit very soon with my credit card in hand.
