FFG sold out of Battles of Napoleon two week ago and the are not saying anything official about a reprint.
Has anyone read anything from Nexus about a reprint or partnership with FFG to reprint this game?

It's listed as getting a reprint on their website . . .

There are a few kinks to iron out with some of the cards, but there's no reason they wouldn't keep printing the new game that sold out, and has multiple expansions planed!

I've been reading that there's an issue with the cards in this game. Can someone summarize or point me to a source that discusses it?

To summarize,
In the advanced game, the type of figures that makes up a battalion has an effect on combat modifiers. Some of the cards had incorrect composition of what those figures were, ie more light companies than line companies. If you don't use the optional troop coposition rules, it doesn't affect the game at all.
They are printing replacement cards that will be available through Nexus or FFG.

FFG had a stack of copies for sale at GenCon last week. The pile never seemed to change in height however and it did not look to be selling as well as their other games.

Compared to the other games and the majority of the crowd at GenCon, that is not really surprising, is it?
