BGG text ads for CardHaus and ThoughtHammer clicking through...
MSRP $49.95... at least according to ThoughtHammer's product page and $49.99 at CardHaus. At about 35% discount it comes to $32.47 at TH and $31.95 at CH... guess I won't be importing a copy after all and will get the reprint!
ThoughtHammer says they expect it August 2010... CardHaus says "late summer 2010"
More info on how this new edition may differ see...

I've got a pile of games still in shrink I can't "wait" to play  While I love GameSurplus $46 is $14 more than if I wait even before adding in shipping (at least another $8). That's at least another game I could be buying (and not far from buying two copies of the HT reprint )
B&B also has it (1st edition like the GameSurplus copies) in stock for $50, at least 5 copies it says. All soon to be marked down to at least down to the price they'll charge for the reprint I assume

Thanks for the update. Nice to see the game isn't going to retain for $70 or more. Very resonable retain price for a nice game, which doesn't always happen anymore.

lol, no link but my guess is GS is still selling the original edition and the free shipping is because you're paying $50

For whatever it's worth, I bought HT through ookoodook.com back when word of how great the game is hit our shores. I wouldn't suggest anyone drop a pile of cash on it with the reprint so imminent, but I've never regretted the purchase for a second.
Great game. Love to play it. Planning on picking up the reprint.

I had to guess as there was no link $46 w/free ship isn't bad if you must have a copy today... for folks like me who can wait $35 (or less) and free shipping (as part of an other order) for the new edition
