New to game. If you are playing the Character card that allows you to draw a card when you are out of cards, can you continue to draw and play draw and play. This seems odd. You could have a continual turn. We played it as when his hand was played his turn as far as playing cards was over and he could draw a card which he could use to counter act a attack of action. Not sure what to do.

We play it that those players draw a card if they have no cards on another players turn and thus get a chance to defend themselves when they are attacked.

I'm pretty certain that Suzy Lafayette is supposed to draw a card whenever she runs out, whether during her turn or later. In the FAQ file that you can download at the publisher's website, it says,

Quote:
Q22. If Suzy Lafayette plays a Duel, which is her last card, can she draw another one before the Duel ends?
A. No, she must wait until the end of the Duel.

While this gives an exception to the rule -- no drawing during the Duel -- it does state that Suzy will draw a card after the duel, during her turn.

Suzy Lafayette can actually draw cards whenever she has no cards in his hand, during her or another player's turn.
And yes, she may play as long as she can if she runs out of cards during his turn -- naturally, sooner or later she will stop because she draws a card which cannot be played, such as Missed! or a blue card already in play in front of her.
I strongly suggest to don't restrict her ability: she is a strong and may be devastating with a Volcanic, but she is a perfectly balanced character.

But can she discard unwanted cards to empty her hand and thus earn the right to draw a new card?

From the Designer's Website FAQ http://www.emilianosciarra.net/ENG/bang-1.html

Quote:
D12. Can I voluntarily discard my cards?
R. No, neither cards from your hand nor cards in play in front of you. Only the character Sid Ketchum can discard exactly 2 cards when he chooses so to regain one life point

There is still a minor arguement on whether or not you can play Cat Balou on yourself/your cards.
