this is pretty much in-line with how I was thinking about modifying the placement from Carcassonne. I.e., the player completing the structure is the only one allowed to send meeples from Carcassonne.

I especially like not having all of the farmers just get dumped on the biggest farm at the end.

I'll have to think about your method of placing meeples there instead of drawing a tile. It's certainly a cleaner rule than the original. I've been meaning to tinker with the set a bit. I'll likely start with what you have.

Although I'm more likely to call it a "scoop" than a "swoop".

Gary, how did that "only the player finishing the feature moves from Carcassonne" rule work out for you?
I do agree that everybody being able to crowd a feature sounds unfair and complicated. I have never used my Count expansion on the account of sounding just to chaotic. And I was actually thinking about doing what you suggest.
But how did it turn out?
