Commentry . . .
There really are two halves to playing as Slaan, before and after the Cultist Upgrade. Before, everything is SO fragile, and timid. After is like being escorted to the big leagues.

Slaan has a Total of 5 combat dice in it's force pool. 5! And 3 of them on the warriors are terrible!

Just finished my first solo game, and I'm not totally sure I followed all the scripts correctly. For example, does Slaanesh magically whisk Nobles out of ruined regions, or just start on the next region on the list regardless of whether or not there's a Noble/Hero there? Maybe I just started too late at night to make sense of them. Anyway, the bots all performed pretty darn well, and I basically got schooled.

End result:

Auto-Tzeentch - 54 points, 5/8 dial

Nurgle (me) - 48 points, 5/10 dial

Auto-Slaanesh - 44 points, 5/7 dial

Auto-Khorne - 31 points, 5/9 dial

Auto-Khorne didn't do much other than screw me over and kill (nine!) peasants. He rolled ridiculously well on the last turn, getting four hits on four dice with single Bloodletters in each of Kislev and Estalia, denying me the seven domination points I needed for the win.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll win with Nurgle at some point. Thanks, gecko!

Played again with me as Nurgle vs. all the bots. Wasn't as competitive this time, as I ended it with 59 points on turn 4. Only Khorne really did anything to stop me, and with him just putting one Bloodletter in Estalia every turn, he wasn't doing a great job. Didn't write everything down, but everybody finished with like 4 ticks, Tzeentch was in the 30s and Slaanesh in the 20s for points. The events also really helped me this time, especially Electors Sue For Peace making my dudes in Estalia invulnerable.

- hey wow it works!

A stranger can follow the scripts.

Mostly. In addition to Dark Influence questions, Khorne's script doesn't say his upgrades have no effect, so when he got his first I assumed he had 8 points to spend, letting him summon four Bloodletters in a turn. For the same reason I also assumed it would take two hits to kill Seductresses after Slaanesh's first upgrade.

The Slaanesh script is basicly a newborn.
I had not considered that.
I spoze they should get stuck in the ruined provinces, like normal.
If the dark influence cannot be played, the noble should get stuck.

There's also nothing written in there for how to treat Heroes. I probably should've assumed he'd also Dark Influence a Hero if there is one and the Nobles are stuck in ruined regions, but I didn't.

And, losing to autoplayers ... cool!

Yeah, seriously. Auto-Tzeentch was supposedly going for dial but won on points. He just ruins regions so fast. I've never played against a human Tzeentch that good. :/

How long did it take to play these two games?

Did the second one make more sense?
Did the second one play faster?

The first one took me a little over an hour, because it was like 4:00 am and I was sleepy, and I was checking the scripts repeatedly. The second was much faster, probably about 30 minutes total. By then I already knew where all of Khorne's summons would go and how to execute Tzeentch's card flips by heart.

Wow. - Thats fantastic.

A normal game takes 1.5 - 2 hours.
A solo game taking 30 minutes is very surprising.

The fact you have actually finished 2 complete games really impresses me. And yeah, I know the Scripts are far from finished, or polished.

Yes, Khorne does get to spend 8 points when Khorne has 8 points.

Auto-TZ ignores points.
Auto-Khorne uses points.

Each god was written very differently.
This was so the script could 'feel' like it should.
I tried hard to make them fair, part of that was remembering they play ALL of their moves first, before the humans, so they might as well play to their strengths.

Still very pleased someone else can actually play it.

So, being the only other person on the planet to have played solo, what did you think? I spoze you played it a second time so it can't have been terrible.
Do you have any suggestions on how to improve any of the Autoplayers?
Do they "Feel" right?
Are they overpowered? Do they place to much/ to little plastic?
Does TZ have too many cards?
Is it important that Khorne does not use Blood frenzy & Battle cry?

Oh, I had lots of fun the first game, especially since it was so close and I actually lost. The second game was just too easy - I think human players would've tried harder to stop me. Although to be fair, Electors Sue for Peace usually favors Nurgle anyway. I just haven't had the time in the last few days to try a third time, or I would've. I'm thinking about trying Khorne, just to see how easy it is to slaughter everyone, although you did set everyone to auto-drop warriors to defend themselves, and Tzeentch's cards might randomly screw me. I think Auto-Tzeentch's card plays feel just about right for him. Not sure whether Auto-Khorne needs to play his cards or not. I'll definitely report back once I've played some more.
