Just finished playing through the first 2 scenarios with 3 friends. While I finished setting everything up I sent them to go watch the tutorial videos on the FFG website.

Easiest game I have ever taught

We found the game enjoyable, and unlike the solo experience quite winnable for the players.

The ability (especially of the deck I was using) to manipulate the game to our advantage was very telling.

Although it often looked dark (like 2 Hill Trolls ambushing the boat with a bunch of orcs) we always pulled through

I built the following decks 2 sphere decks, major listed first.

Spirit & Lore (Eowyn, Eleanor, Beravor)

Lore & Tactics (Glorfinel, Denethor, Gimli)

Tactics & Leadership (Legolas, Thalin, Gloin)

Leadership & Spirit (Aragorn, Theodred, Dunhere)

Great fun, can't wait to try the third scenario

Yes exactly, 2 core sets. Of course the 50 card player decks are very large compared to how many you will actually use in a scenario (so far)
