I am looking for any rules or articles on 40k in 40 Minutes. The shorter, streamlined version that you only play with a 400 point army...

All I have are the original rules from White Dwarf, are there any other rules, articles, etc,. that anyone can provide me or point me in the right direction on? Any scenarios for it would be great too.

Thanks,
D.

I think it is now called "combat patrol."

There are several iterations of these rules, which are all largely similar. Here are a few examples:

I have the offical Warhammer rules in PDF format (from the original White Dwarf they appeared in), they pulled them off of their site last year, but let me know your email address and I will get you a copy.

It was a system they originally designed to allow for a quick game in under an hour using small patrol units and such... 400 points max with army construction restrictions... thus the name 40k in 40 mins with a 400 pt army, etc.

Thanks much Devin!

My group is using the Adepticon 2011 Combat Patrol Rules for 5E and 500pts.

Was reading Adepticon 2011 rules and found "Transports" and "Troops" may have a maximum armor facing of 12. But, no Heavy Vehicles allowed. I would prefer this rule over the 32, 33 or 34 point total. Makes better sense to me as I could have the option for a Dreadknought if it is treated as a "Heavy Support Troop". Will toss my vote in with our gaming group.

Also see where no Psy abilities may be used if a Psy Test is Required. Hurts Grey Knights, but should make for a balanced 5E game.

Appreciate your posts and input guys!
Cheers!
