The game's entry here on BGG has this entry:

"Update (21.10.2010): A special edition in Italian/English in a bigger box was published by dVGiochi in 2010 (see: http://www.dvgiochi.com/giochi/cdd/?id=37). In the dVGiochi Edition some rules are different and the number of players is reduced to 4-8. The smaller Adlung German/English version will also be sold in the future."

So did that smaller version ever get published? Who would be publishing it (for sale in the U.S., in this case)? I'd rather not buy the 4-8 player edition, only to have the another version become available soon.

Thanks!

The Adlung German/English game "Kutschfahrt zur Teufelsburg" was the first version and is still available (that's what the update means with "will also be sold in the future").

As an example the game is availabe here: http://www.thoughthammer.com/die-kutschfahrt-zur-teufelsburg...

The cards are in German and English, though the English text is very small:

I'm, I'm afraid there's been a mistake. The man who has been speaking to you is an impostor. He is not in fact the Bishop of East Anglia, but a man wanted by the police. I am the Bishop of East Anglia and anyone who doesn't believe me can look me up

I think this refers to The Castle of the Devil licensed in 2010 by da Vinci Editrice S.r.L which was then produced in English - larger cards and fewer players (4-8) are features of this version AND the reprint of the German version but leaving the option of a US small version
