I see several Xiangqi-apps in the android market. Any opinions on which one to get?

I use Chinese Chess by DreamFactory. It's in Chinese, but easy to jump into and looks great.

Old thread, but it's worth noting that there are now a couple of dozen Android apps, perhaps half of them with an English interface, and varying from the unacceptably buggy to the very basic (no choice of sides, no saving of games or setting up problems) to the more ambitious. I don't have the skill to evaluate the AI, but a couple that I've found good for learning or intermediate play are VHChineseChess (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vn.vhn.android...), which is both free and ad-free, and includes some very tough endgame puzzles; and Action Chinese Chess, available in both ad-supported and paid versions (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.longo....), which has an attractive interface including hints for moves.
