Ooop, keep forgetting to update this.

This Sunday, 17th June, is the monthly Games Day at King of Cards.

Last month we had oodles of games going on including Ticket to Ride, Munchkin Cthulhu, Game of Thrones board game, Feudility, Raid the Pantry, Komodo Dragon, Dungeon Pets, Impossible Machine and those are just a few that I saw.

We also had the local Game of Thrones Living Card Game players present playing and loaning decks to show people how the game is played. I think at one point we had 3 groups playing at the same time.

It's free, it runs from opening time (10am) through to closing time (4pm) and there is a random prize draw in the afternoon for those in attendance.

All welcome!

December Games Day is coming up on the 16th of December. And apart from all the usual board gaming goodness we will be holding the X-Wing Star Wars Kessel Run special Invitational event.

If you want to check out how the Star Wars X-Wing game by Fantasy Flight plays and try out a game with some expert demo players then head along to King of Cards on Sunday.

Store is open from 10am through to 4pm for all manner of board gaming. A great way to try out some old and new games. We had over 20 people at last months event.

Wow, last month's Kessel Run was loads of fun and we got to play on the new playmats from GaleForce9 for the event. Check out this blog about it, and the GaleForce9 post about the new mats too.

This Sunday (20th) is the January monthly Games Day at King of Cards. I have a couple of new games I'm hoping to demo if people are interested which include Spartacus, the new game from GaleForce9.

It's free, there are random prize draws and the store is open from 10am to 4pm.

August Games Day is happening on Sunday 18th. Store is open from 10am through to 4pm so oodles of time to playing. And there is a big double table of sale games at the moment... they might last until the games day
