This game is gonna be awesome!
I'm so much looking forward to pick it up at Essen!
The only thing is that I think the game needs proper prisoners....so I carved some. I thought wood would nicely match the game design. What do you think?
Here you see the "abstract" version...easy to carve:
This one took a bit more time:
Work in progress: carving and polishing the final prisoners:
Some pictures of the four detailed prisoners:

Depends on the quality level.
The detailed set took me a week...but winter in Sweden is said to be looong....
Well, Yoki, as I promised, I've done them
I hope I'll be allowed to display them at the booth.

Update!
Version 4 is ready!
This time, the four lads are trapped in boardgame cubes !!!
The initial idea was to go for meeple-like mass production:
...ideas change all the time, so I decided to go a step further and play with the contrast of abstract meepleness and the actual characters of the game:
...and I realized that the abstract meeple version doesn't safe any time when you try to paint the characters' faces on 3 square millimetres
...especially if the guys are THAT fashion-conscious:
...so here they are
...and here are the girls
There are some more pictures in my gallery..
Which version do you think is the best?
Version1 (abstract), version2 (abstract & sanded) and version3 (all in the box) moved to Poland right after Essen...at least as far as I know...

Yes, I have your magnificent pieces of art in Cracow, Poland. We always play Alcatraz with them.
I must say, that your meeple-like prisoners are also wonderful. I was pushing my publisher to use meeples in the first place, but they seem to like those round pieces more. Now I can show them how wrong they are!
Being the proud owner of the version 1, I would say that they are the best. But your new work is the close second
Let me also say, that seeing how much effort you put in customizing your game makes me feel so much prouder of Alcatraz Thank you for that.
Cheers!

I can't wait to see Kingpin chicks like Tanya or Marina as fully painted miniatures. Or the Costo sisters from the expansion yay!
