Greetings,

I hope you will have a good stay in our country. If you are looking for game shops in Manila, there are only a few that sells boardgames.

Hobbes and Landes http://www.hobbesandlandes.com/

Neutral Grounds http://neutralgrounds.net/

Fortress http://www.greenhills.com.ph/details.asp?storeid=1836

There's also Toy Kingdom or Toys R' Us in the shopping malls around the city.

We also have a monthly gaming meet that you can attend. Check out this thread.

What you can do is to see if Hans (Gaming Library) has stock of what you have. Otherwise, visit Neutral Grounds in Glorietta 4, as it has the most stock of boardgames among all the branches (Alabang Town has a lot of stock too).

Prices are pretty decent. What you should figure out is how much is your budget

We actually have a lot of Cebu customers. What they do is order and have the games shipped to them through a courier. Most of the time, the fee is around just 300php for 2 games.

I just had a great time spending an afternoon at Dyce N Dyne. The game selection was great - lots of current hits and classics - and the food and drink were really good! I must recommend the fish and chips, especially. So good we ordered a second one.

The address is Unit #3 Rosemarie Elements building, Pasig Blvd, Pasig City. It's right across from the SeaOil gas station. Much recommended!

Looks like only Ludo is still around as a physical store?

Will be in Manila next month staying in Makati near Greenbelt/Glorieta and will probably pickup some games as it isn't as cheap as the US but much cheaper than AU (where I am coming from).

If you are in Makati, there are many shops that sells boardgames Neutral Grounds in Glorietta is primarily a CCG game shop but stores a lot of boardgames. There is also Makati BnB (Beer and Boardgames) just outside the Ayala Mall Complex / behind New World Hotel Makati. A bit up north but still in Makati is Ludo Boardgame Bar and Bistro, a boardgame cafe that also sells boardgames.

I've been to Australia and yes, your games there are more expensive than the ones sold here.

If you don't mind venturing a little further north, there's a shop called Fortress in the Greenhills area - they are a little pricey compared to Makati B&B and Ludo, but they have many of the newer games. I haven't been there recently though.

I just spent several months in Manila, I can vouch for Ludo, the best selection of games!

A lot of the other places mentioned do not have a large selection to choose from, I was thinking maybe Philippines is not up to par until I found ludo. You can play the games if you just order something from the menu, and on the back wall they have games available for purchase as well.
