Every year, the
Tribes get together for a big cookout…

…And everyone wants
to have the honor of being eaten.

Who's for Dinner? a fast and fun take-that style card game for 3-5 players is now on Kickstarter! In Who's for Dinner? everybody plays cannibals that want to be eaten and are trying to get the best combination of spices in order to score the most points. Of course, it's not that easy: not only do you need certain items in order to be eaten, but you'll want to play action cards on other players in order to mess with them while trying to protect your own items from those players.

To order, go to http://kck.st/zUI2xw and pledge whatever amount you can to help make this project a reality. If you do back the project, use the "Send a Message" feature on Kickstarter and send me a message with the code "BGG39" and you'll get the "Secret Hiding Place" promo card, which is not available as a regular reward. Please tell your friends about the game and the code... these promo cards are unlimited and anyone can use the code to get the special promo when they pledge at any level. Also like us at facebook.com/mrwgames to help get the word out!

Posted my first update:

The Cards of Who's for Dinner?

I've put up a gallery of all the clip-art cards (http://wp.me/P1l7Hx-b). Hopefully this will help those who want to help out with art directing a card find a card they'd like to work with, without having to download super huge files and sort through every page.

The Philosophy of Mr. W Games

I added a good bit to the Kickstarter page (http://kck.st/zUI2xw) about my approach to game publishing. Basically, I want to leverage my experience with digital printing to make sure games don't just disappear after an initial Kickstarter campaign. Also, I talked a little about how I feel that providing the files for free later on won't cut into the sales of the game. I think most everyone will want a professional printed version.

More to Come

Stay tuned... there's going to be more to come tomorrow, including some big announcements!

I had a chance to demo Who's for Dinner? yesterday and Mark Bakke was kind enough to write up some notes on it in his weekly blog: AAR for 19 Mar 2012
