This looks interesting, and it may very well be a good fit for my family. Does anybody know of any US distribution plans? So far, it looks like Amazon.de is my best option if I want a copy.

I'd also be happy with any tips on imported copies at OLGS's.

Maybe a better question is whether Ravensburger is planning on doing an English version.

I GM'ed Eric Martin to see if he has any intel....

Game is featured on the cover of the latest Spielbox, so I have been wondering, too....

I picked up a copy at Time Well Spent, unfortunately though no English rules are available so I have no idea how to play it.

Drat! TWS is out of stock as well at this point...

I can't be certain if there's a minor rule missing, but it looks like an enterprising Geek has put a pretty thorough rules explination in the description of the game on the main page for Indigo. That, along with the German PDF you can get from Ravensburger's website, should get you pretty far along.

No response yet from Eric M., though no doubt he is in Easter Bunny mode....

Hmm, it can't be that simple can it?

I'll give it a try based on that explanation to see how it plays out. If I still have rules questions I'll post them in the rules forum.

FWIW: Eric was correct. Between the description given here, the original German rules, (pictures/setup) and an article in Spielbox magazine, (variant) I was able to play the game with what I believe to be all the correct rules.

It's a nice family style game with simple rules that can be taught quickly. It plays fast and will play well with family, newbies an even non gamers.

Eric M. knows of no plans at present by Ravensburger U.S., and so suspects not anytime soon....

Full disclosure: I'm the Director of Hobby Sales and Marketing at PSI, who handles Ravensburger's fulfillment to the hobby. My sample of Indigo prompted me to check the 'Geek for thoughts on the game play (the wife is a fussy gamer), which lead me to this thread.

WEM posted weeks ago that it was "officially out in the U.S." but I can't find it anywhere but Amazon for full retail. More info on this?

I just got my copy from CSI today. The one word that comes to mind is LUSH. I have yet to play it (hopefully tomorrow), but I have a feeling that it will not disappoint. I know it is not much like TaYu (other than the tile-laying, path-forming-to-score-points mechanic), but I'm projecting that it will be of similar weight and scratch the same itch as that go-to classic for me. Sure the box is big, but it's the most functional one I have ever seen! I usually baggie all my components (sometime even discarding the insert), but I tested it out and even after discarding the cardboard frame from the punched out tokens and tiles, the board stays put thanks to an ingenious little set of clips molded into the insert, and nothing slides out of place, even the gems stones that are thrown into their own shallow indentation.
