In the base set, there are randomizer cards for Copper, Silver, Gold, Curses, etc.

Why does Alchemy not have one?

And does that bother anyone else as much as it does me?

Potions are put out only if a card requiring a potion is put out.

Since you will never NOT have gold/silver/copper out, they should not have randomizer cards.

Those weren't randomizers but "placeholders" in the original game. They were supposed to be used to signify empty piles. They were mainly there because they had room for the extra cards.

Potions never got one because there was either no room or they realized it was a silly idea.

I'm sure it would have been easy enough to eliminate a blank card and substitute it for a random Potion card, to also signify the empty space in the Supply pile.

And yes, it bugs the crap out of me.

Then you will also "appreciate" the lack of placeholders for Platinum, Colony, and Ruins.

The placeholders bug me too. There could have been a 26th Kingdom card in the base set. Dungeon, where are you!? cry
