The majority has spoken:

- I was framed!

BTW, I made the back of the frame transparent as well... Seemed more appropriate.

Maybe there would be room for the cartoony eyes too? I'd like to buy that one, but am not that fond of the sad emoticon

Another option I'd wondered about was Greg modifying his microbadgician mb to make it an "I love microbadgicians", maybe by literally adding an 'I' and a heart, and then changing the mouseover.

I'm so sad. Today, I learned that I'm not a "real" microbadge designer.

You have TWO non-buyable MB design awards. I think that makes you a REAL microbadge designer...
wow

I appreciate that. I was mainly joking about the laurel for MB designers, which is an elite award. I know you weren't trying to be exclusive or elitist, but I worry about phrases like "real" microbadge designer. I think the concept is clear without the need for looking for exclusive designs to replicate.

I was staring at a pack of cheese, as I ate my dinner, and noticed it had a tiny QR code that looked about 16x16 pixels, which got me all excited about the possibility of creating a scannable microbadge which could then take you somewhere just for the heck of it (like maybe the microbadge users home page or just back to BGG itself).

Sadly conventional QR codes are 21x21 pixels (so perhaps the cheese code was just for cheese tracking purposes). So I had a play at just doing a pretend QR code microbadge and produced:
imagining a mouseover like "I'll scan anything"

But apparently there are micro QR codes which are smaller and only have one of the square corner thingamajigs. Anthony had a play at generating (using a QR code app.) one which upon scanning would take you to the BGG website:
It's 15x15, so not the perfect size and I've also deliberately kept white pixels not transparent in case it would help it to be scannable, and to add to the effect.

Sadly, our QR scanner app. doesn't handle micro QR codes, so we don't know if it works, and even if it did when printed out, I've no idea whether you could scan it successfully under an avatar.

Does anyone have any knowledge of these matters, or any thought as to whether a QR code-ish microbadge could be interesting/amusing?
