Been toying with the idea of using Descent rules to make a Marvel Heroes game. (using hero klicks)

Would like to see if anyone has some ideas for some hero / villains cards/abilities/LT cards.

Looking for suggested passives and heroic abilities for heroes, and some monster cards for villains and goons.



examples;

Juggernaut - Large Villain

Unstoppable Force - Treat all immobilize results as stun instead.

Out of my way! - Juggernaut may end his turn in occupied spaces. Any models that were in those space are removed from the board and placed in the closest unoccupied space. Heroes choose first.

Juggernaut charge - Juggernaut gains 2 move points whenever he uses an attack action.



Visor (Cyclops starting Equipment)

- Uses an accessory slot

- If Cyclops starts his turn without this item equipped, he is stunned.

- If Cyclops does not have this item equipped, add one red power dice to all ranged attacks.


Looking for a brain storm of ideas. Thanx in advance.

Could be interesting.

Thugs - Melee lackeys, instead of beastmen / Zombies
Spider-Slayers - Large based mech , instead of Ettins
Bikers, instead of 2x1 based Barghests

and for character skill cards
Spiderman, starting with Spider Senses and Webs

And then advanced skills to buy with EXP like
Impact Webbing: a more powerful ranged attack
Web Shield: almost like the IronSkin spirit-speaker skill.

I don't understand... if you have the HeroClix minis... what's wrong with the HeroClix mechanics?

Maybe the OP wants to get the 'Marvel Ultimate Alliance' type game happening sans-wii/xbox 360/ps3.

The only catch to this is that you would have to make a lot of custom cards, as not many abilities fall under multi-use catergories (unless you did them as such but it would lose a lot of the flavor - i.e Cyclops concussion blast and Spideys Impact webbing)

I wouldn't mind seeing this done either.

There are a lot of alternative Marvel equivalents to what you get in the game, with some creative thinking.

In addition to the ones I listed previously, others off the top of my head could be:
Armed Criminals -> Skeleton Archers
Golems -> Hulkbusters
Shades -> Hand Ninja
Chaos Beast -> Disgruntled Morlock

For any bizarre monsters, you could just recreate them as generic mutants with the same ability.
