I played the Nieuport scenario; it was a very tense game.

The Spanish got off to an horrendous start. First, Allied cavalry
assaulted the Spanish right flank and destroyed all of the Spanish
artillery. Then, the Spanish lost an entire three unit stack to
artillery fire from a battery of English basilisks.

Fortunately for the Spanish, the Dutch pressed their advantage too
strongly. The lone Spanish cavalry unit on the right flank managed to
pin a Dutch cavalry unit against the North Sea and destroy it. Then, the
Dutch launched a headlong assault on the weakened Spanish center with
most of their cavalry. This move was decisively rebuffed by an elite
Spanish yeoman pike unit defending in a dune hex. One of the Dutch
cavalry units was subsequently assaulted and destroyed by Spanish
lansquenets. Despite this success, the Spanish still desperately needed
to rebuild their line.

To buy time for this, the Spanish Gennets and Black Cassocks(both types
of light cavalry) raided the Dutch rear. Any thought of continuing the
assault on the Spanish center had to be abandoned in order to deal with
this threat. The Spanish needed to knock off an isolated unit in order
to drop Dutch morale; however, the Gennets rolled poorly and were
soundly rebuffed by the Dutch cavalry, who destroyed them in turn.

Meanwhile, the Spanish had reformed their line and were assaulting the
main line of the Allied army with squadrons of arquebusiers, yeoman
pike, and lansquenets. The Spanish needed quick and decisive results,
before the Dutch could reorganize their right into squadrons of
arquebusiers and puissant pike. Unfortunately for the Spanish, these
attacks bore little fruit. Without having inflicted sufficient losses on
the Dutch and with their own morale plummeting, the Spanish fell victim
to a successful Dutch victory roll at the end of turn 6.
