Have just received PL and MH in a trade. Everything is in the one box and all the replacement cards are added to their relevant decks, however I have two copies of Botch Lebadov and two copies of HLD-454 Jack each with differing abilities on their descriptions. Both sets have C02 and C05 on their bases but neither has the 'replacement' card indicator symbol. Which do I use ?

I haven't seen the MH versions to compare, but if you could post a brief description of the differences it'll be easier to determine which is which.

You can find the original captain cards in the files section for the base game.

HLD Jack no1; when in battle, +1 escape for each enemy ships
no2; at the beginning of a battle, add +1 escape for everyone involved

Botch Lebadov no 1; once during each battle, you may replace one of your enemy's cards with the next card of its draw pile
no2; once during each battle you may have one enemy discard their current card and replace it with the next card of the draw pile

thanks guys

I think (from memory) the replacement cards have a symbol alongside their (tiny) card number.

Base game and Mostly Harmless had some empty cards just that in mind, but we got quite a lot of feedback that we should not do blank cards, so we didn't include blank captain cards for Pilot Academy.

That is correct.

In Mostly Harmless it's a small MH
and
in Pilot Academy, a small PA.
