So Baltar, Helo, Apollo, Kelly? Wow. Does someone want to make me one of those cute skill card charts so I can see where we are?

Then pick Tory, Elosha, Ellen (that'll be fun), Zarek or whoever you prefer! I'll resign as soon as I become the Intermediary .

If you get Pascal to mod, I'm happy to play in the V60 "Central" division with you and 3-4 other lucky participants

I could maybe be talking into running Central, as V53c is close to ending. Maybe. If someone is really nice to me.

You do know her OPT is useless on Colony, and Watchtower is immune to her OPG? (oh wait, did I add that bit? )

Turns out her OPG is any skill check, not crisis.

Re: BSG V60 - Revelations: Alpha - East
After reviewing character abilities I can tell you

Ellen and Tory are very good for unrevealed cylons, but Chief is INCREDIBLE. He can flat out kill a Watchtower attempt.

Ellen and Tory are also very good for humans, but Lampkin and Cally's abilities also work very well...

Oh and Gaeta is completely rubbish because of his limitation, and Kelly is fairly tough too.

I know my loyalty, it's the same I have in The Beast: "I Am NOT a Cylon - Yet"!

So, no worries, maybe I'll be human this time? And even if I won't, I still may give up the presidency just to gain an illusion of trust!

HOLD

Before starting the game... we need to talk

The "new" rules are way off the line at a point that they are not even interesting to play.... you don't change what's already working

I originally thought that we were testing new Colony changes which i was eager to do as usual

But i will not sign to test new CCW ideas were CCW is already working and needs no change at all

You guys are trying too hard to include everything and trying to make them work all together that you're going to ruin everything

Pegasus doesn't have it's place when Colony is reached... we should include CFB...

Trying to focus way too much to integrate PC at the point of weakening CCW... simply ditch PC, that's not worth the effort. Or just play with either CCW or PC

I don't know if it's because of the end of the world but the brainstorming that took place this afternoon was a complete disaster... with respect to my fellow geeks, i am far from being impress with the new changes

Can we just try the new Colony ideas and faith changes??

Currently GM with David...

Re: BSG V60 - Revelations: Alpha - East
Ooookay, I don't usually like to give lengthy reasoning for my changes, but here goes.:

Faith #1: Worthy Of Survival is too powerful, there needs to be less.
Faith #2: Faith is needed for Watchtower. Filling Destiny with 12 Faith is very pro human now.

Colony #1: Sending humans to sickbay can break the thrust of the attack. It should be harder. It's enough that defenders are impassable.
Colony #2: Nuke change is obvious, since Colony cannot be destroyed. The other one is so you won't get forever stuck with more than one defenders.
Colony #3: No need to hoard Engineering. Since HoF is a cylon victory, they need an easy way to influence it.
Colony #4: Obvious.
Colony #5: As discussed, it needs to balance HoF helping humans.
Colony #6: That's the whole point of the update.
Colony #7: No need.
Colony #8: Give humans a chance to fight against raiders (Main Batteries), at a price. Give cylon admiral a chance to lose a population on blowing up Pegasus. Bringing in Airlock solves the "President for Life" issue.
Colony #9: Simplification
Colony #10: No humans ever used those actions, and now they have Main Batteries, and don't need to manipulate HoF.
Colony #11: Morale is now not clearly better than Population. Plus killing Food is fun. Other is again about making "sent to sickbay" harder.

CCW #1-#2: Those were bugs in the rules (easier to hit in defensive than in offensive, etc), needed to be fixed.
CCW #3: It was unspecified previously.
CCW #4: BC agressive totally obsoleted Armory. At least now you cannot do it every turn.
CCW #5: My biggest complain from playtesters, especially those that didn't learn Revelations from me, was that "why does the guy mostly using RB has to calculate all the prices?". And this way they can use Hybrid Offensive twice in a game, instead of three times like now. (it was way too pro human)
CCW #6-#7: My second most frequent complaint was "complicated action chains". So we try this. I might go back on this one.
CCW #8: #5 made trust more needed. Hence improve the ability of giving it out.
CCW #9: Cavil was too weak, D'Anna was too powerful and they were the only ones who didn't have a random element/human control in it. Now they do.

Please feel free to point out any particular points anyone disagree with. I'm willing to hold a poll on CCW #6-7, but not on the rest.
Also if you feel any of the actions should be made cheaper (taking #5 into account), feel free to tell me about it.

I have no opinion on changing costs, but stopping the RB from being a string of actions is sorely needed.

Re: BSG V60 - Revelations: Alpha - East
Cylon Civil War was working, but I don't agree it was "as intended". I'm not a big fan of Pegasus Commander, and I think "gaining trust for yourself" (instead of "generating it for some other player") would be more natural and probably more attractive now that it's harder to just hoard tokens with free action-chains.

Without changing that, you might want to at least decrease skill card cost of some actions. I'm not sure whether escorting 2 civilians at once should generate trust, or is it enough for them to be free in terms of trust.

There is one more Cylon Model with quite weak, one-time only and in no way random or check-dependant ability, and that is Five (Doral). Since we already have "Brigging Cylon" (Six), "Cylon Doctor" (Four), "Caprica Cylon" (Three), "Militant Cylon" (One), and even two strange-but-fun models: "Stranding Cylon" (Two) and a "Cylon Pilot" (Eight) - why not make Five a "Fleet Bombing Cylon"?
Quote:
When activating the Human Fleet location, instead of [looking at the top Crisis or Destination? / drawing 2 Skill Cards of different types?], you may roll a die. If [4?] or lower, [damage Galactica? / draw a civilian ship to destroy?]

I think you overnerfed D'Anna.
There's no need for a chance to draw only one card IMO.

Re: BSG V60 - Revelations: Alpha - East
CCW: Could it help to require that a player has at least 1 trust token to activate any RB action? So even if the cost is 0, some trust is needed?

Colony: The Cylon Actions still limited by the humans' position on the assault track? Otherwise Opera House would seem to be too much.

Pegasus CIC should be able to target the RB if you're going to allow Weapons Control...
