If you use the thumbs of these top X posts as a general guide to interest, only videos get less love than files. It's funny and sad that the two things that take the most time to produce well get the least amount of appreciation.

Yeah, I don't think people appreciate how much effort goes into all these player aids, ref cards, spreadsheets, graphic redesigns, etc.

Huzzah, got 4 files in the top 100 this year!
Got 1 file in the top 100, for about 20 uploaded, which is not so bad! The funny thing is that's it's a french one, with not so much downloads. I made some english versions which got more downloads but less thumbs!
Thanks to all of you who create these. Even though many of the files above are straight rules because so many like reading rules in advance of game release, it is the player aids that are some of the true gems of the site. All those on the above list truly rock!
A few years ago I started thumbing every file before I opened it. Yes, you can go take it back if you want to, but after you have seen the file, the effort to go back and thumb it is so high that many don't do it.
