Couldn't have been earned by a nicer guy.

Rodney is solely responsible for getting me into Board Gaming. I, in turn, have gotten at least 5 others (and plan on getting much more) into the hobby.

So, in essence, Rodney is our Heisenberg.

And if TV has taught me one thing, it's to fear and respect the one who knocks (or rolls...).

Congrats!

Congratulations. It's well deserved, as the WatchItPlayed series is such a unique, and well needed series that serves the boardgame community so well. I have watched, learned and laughed with so many of the series, and ended up buying the games as a result. You might say you don't do reviews, but the series is done so well, that this is often the case. More publishers would do well to utilise the services of WatchItPlayed!

Your GotW video is also very funny, with some great "guest appearances".

Well done again sir!

Hello Rodney,
Question:
So do you practice the 'Jones' theory in that do you replace games in your collection when another better game comes along that would fill that 'need'. For example you have an auction game like Modern Art and you get Power Grid do you do away with Modern Art or keep it?

Luke is just dice roller of the week. Every week. Forever.

I think I might add my WIP microbadge to my profile for this week, in respect. This is the first time the GotW has actually been someone who I've been genuinely interested in (er, in the non-creepy way, honest ). I've really enjoyed the WIP videos, they've taught me a few new games, and I really enjoyed the Zombicide live video (I don't really care for the credit but, in case you're wondering Rodney, I think I was the first one who suggested the strategy with Josh! And you pronounced my username wrong!).

I could only wish that I'd discovered WIP earlier - perhaps I'd have found some killer games for my group back then, when I had some spare money whistle. Still, it's a great reference and nice place to see games at.

I don't want happiness by halves, nor is half of sorrow what I want. Yet there's a pillow I would share, where gently pressed against a cheek like a helpless star, a falling star, a ring glimmers on the finger of a hand.

Grats Rodney, always enjoy the Watch It Played gang.

Well done Rodney, this is well deserved, you've put so much effort into giving us your great videos (and I'm fresh from the live Zombicide session, which was amazing, 200+ gamers playing one game, testament to how much respect you already have in the community), it's nice to see some recognition.

Yeah, I was there too and it was a fun fun fun game, as are all games with Rodney.
I'm mildly curious to know how many of the 250 where also on form the geek but we really have no way of knowing.

Question, what has been the Watchitplayed game that you have most enjoyed playing? Why?

When making the videos do you prefer ones where you are a GM/adversary, like Mansions of Madness and Super Dungeon Explore, or do you prefer ones where we (the viewers and you) are all on the same side, like Zombicide or Space Hulk?

Whoops, so intent on the questions that I didn't say congrats.
So congrats twice to make up for it!

EDIT: I just finished watching the video. Aw man, I wondered why all those wardrobe changes until you hit the Tom Vassal one, and then it clicked. Kudos to you!

Congratulations Rodney! I've seen every video you've made, and they have really helped me dive into the gaming hobby.

My question for you: How many times do you think you've played through Arkham Horror, and have you ever played with expansions? If so, which expansion is your favorite?

Congratulations Rodney!! Love your show.

Do you think you will ever rate a game higher or lower than 8 on BGG? :D

What do you think about doing a one time game play show with The Secret Cabal in the style of Table Top?

I love Rodney's videos and it is great to see him follow Joel as Geek of the Week. The bio video was very interesting, particularly as it told a narrative that I am sure is familiar to very many people. Bravo on your ever improving output Rodney, long may it continue!
