I'm troubled by one thing.....
Leaders can affect only the to hit die roll of Ordnance SW such as Panzerfaust.

What troubles me is that on the list of Firer To Hit DRM I read:

"Leadership +X"

How am I supposed to interpret that "+X"?

1) only leaders with "positive leadership" (e.g. +1 +2) affect the To Hit roll (making it more difficult to score a hit, and this would make sesne given their "low" leadership)
2) regardless of the leadership (e.g. -1;-2 it is ALWAYS added despite being negative (in which case it would not make sense to me)

Thank you very much. I love ASL but I'm now making my first steps into the big system and need some help.

It means to add in the leadership rating of the appropriate leader. Adding a negative means to actually subtract. So a -2 leader means +(-2) = -2.

wouldn't be easer then to write +/-X as in the case for example of the Melee combat table?

Thanks for your reply

The rules always note the leadership modifer as +X. Remember the leadership modifier on the counter includes the sign (+ or -) and the number. From there it's simple math.

6+1 leader: X = +1. DRM = +(+1) = +1
9-2 leader: X = -2. DRM = +(-2) = -2

I agree it's a bit strange, but mathematically correct. Plus it saves those crucial two extra characters that adding the "/-" costs

When you total these up throughout the RB it probably saved 3 +/- 4 pages!
