Subject: Create your own Cylon loyalty card rss

If you could create another Cylon Loyalty card, what would it say?

&

If there could be (say) 3 general reveal actions, which you could take as an action instead of your normal reveal action (with a YAAC card), what would they be?

For example:

General reveal: If you are a unrevealed Cylon pilot you may:

1. Action: while piloting a viper destroy one civvie in your space area.
2. Your Viper is automatically shot down (damaged) by Galactica.
3. Turn over your "You are a Cylon" loyalty card, it has no effect.
4. You are placed on the Resurrection ship, you receive a Super Crisis.

So if you're not someone who can jump into a viper, then you do have a completely useless reveal? At least people can argue with the other reveal powers, it still does something, even though not necessarily timed right or applicable. I'd probably add an option for a unmanned viper to destroy a civvy, "through you", as a "slash option", so the unmanned thing or as a pilot. Perhaps make the piloted version slightly better (don't have to go to Brig, but the unmanned method does?) to give pilots more love on the unrevealed cylon arena.

Other ideas (not necessarily balanced, and NOT playtested at all at this point)....
1) Destroy 1 civvy ship (on the board if this is somehow too powerful)

2) Place a 'special token' on each other characters' sheet. That char cannot use special abilities until that character reaches the end of his current turn.
* I'm tinking special token is only necessary if you give that cylojn player the chance to veto a special ability once in the game, then get rid of it.

3) pick out a CAC from the discard pile and play it, OR keep revealing crisis cards from the deck until a CAC shows up. Resolve that, and reshuffle the rest back into the crisis deck

4) receive a super crisis card (on top of the one you get for after revealing)

5) (P) Damage Peggy twice, if there are not enough damage tokens to assign to Peggy, each player discards 1 skill card for each damage token that wasn't assigned. The president and admiral each discard an additional skill card

6) (X, but less-so could also be in base game) The admiral loses one nuke token. If the admiral has no nuke tokens left, then pick the highest resource (you choose in case of a tie) and lose 1 of that.

x) last but not least, there are several variant reveal powers since the base game if anyone's inclined to find them.

You misunderstood: by general reveal I mean: an action avaible for all unrevealed Cylons. It is not a specific card you have, nor an action on the gameboard.

So as a unrevealed Cylon you'll have two options: use your YAAC card OR use one of the general reveal actions.

My example is useless for non-pilots, but if we make three general reveal actions, the other two will have to be 'available' for non-pilots.

How about:

- Take the top 3 destination OR crisis cards and put them on the top or bottom of the deck in any order that you like.

or:

- You can stack the remaining character cards in any order that you like, and make them into a (blind) draw pile. From that point on, any human that gets executed, no longer chooses a new character, but instead gets the top character from the pile.

or:

- Lower morale, food, OR population by 1, and increase one other resource by 1.

A general reveal for Political Leaders: "Bureaucracy"

1. While you're on Colonial One, discard x political skill cards to look at the top x cards from the Quorum deck, you may then place 2 cards on the bottom. Shuffle and replace the others on top.


A general reveal for Support characters: "Sabotage"

1. While in the Hangardeck location, discard x repair cards, move that many vipers to the "damaged viper section" (first from the reserves, then from space areas)

discard three random loyality cards from loyality deck and place three of new cards - one of them must be "you are a cylon" (you can look on discarded cards). If Galactica passed 8 distance nothing happens.
