I use Google chrome and have my browser set to automatically open a tab to http://www.boardgamegeek.com whenever I open the browser.

For the past two weeks I get a server error whenever I attempt to connect to the site. Today, I had to browse to www.rpggeek.com and then click board games in order to connect.

Anyone else having this issue

There must have been a moment at the beginning, where we could have said no. Somehow we missed it. Well, we'll know better next time.

Very very slow today and last night.
I just cleaned my cache a few days ago so that shouldn't be a problem right? You shouldn't have to clear the cache daily?
I hate cleaning the cache because then I have to remember and re-enter all my different passwords for all the different sites.

Other websites are fine, the slow crawl is BGG specific.

Using Firefox and BGG is very slow today. Sometimes taking 8-9 tries to get on a page.

Clearing cache has no effect. (In fact, I have my browser set to automatically clear my cache anyhow, but I did it manually too.)

Happened again this morning.

Since the site went down a week or so ago, I've been having this when I'm connecting via Chrome and the default browser on my Android device.
Hitting the site via a sub-page? Not an issue. Going to the page results in a 504 error.

My PC, on the other hand, has no issue. Have not cleared the cache on my home PC, because it's working. Tried on my android, problem persists.

I've been having very sloooow connections for the past few days, if I could connect at all. Last night was the oddest; I could connect as long as I didn't try to log in (or post, not realizing I wasn't logged in -- I too did a massive cache clearout, including cookies.) The moment I tried to log in, on either computer, I was doomed. Nothing would let me in. I didn't think to try RPG Geek, though.

Same issue here (since yesterday) - http://www.boardgamegeek.com is not working in Chrome, but http://boardgamegeek.com works. Both URLs are working in Opera/IE/Firefox.

The error in Chrome is Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.

Also getting ERR_CONNECTION_RESET on Chrome [32.0.1700.77], last couple of days.

Safari [Version 7.0 (9537.71)] has no trouble loading the site up, clearly not a DNS or other ISP-related concern.

Chrome, however, does load the site for me from my work IP connection (same laptop), so clearly a DNS or other ISP-related concern

Any ideas?
