note: in this review you'll find some rules, the rules are only of the simple version of the game and not all the rules are inculeded! also in the review i have some of my own opinions, it doesn't, they are not facts!

I.
General review:
Camelot Legends in an exellent game by Andrew Parks. Camelot Legends is a very simple learning game but the strategy is the complex thing in the game. when playing each player controls few knights and charecters from the stories of king Arthur. you need play your charecters in the best places and use their abilities at the right time in order to win the game. the object of the game is gaining most victory points by finishing most and hardest quests, but at the same time the other players will want to get the same thing and won't stop trying to interupt you and claiming quests for themselves.

II.
little bit more:
the game is for 2-4 players playing againts each other trying to complete most and hardest quests in order to get most victory points. each quest (or event as it called in the game) needs one or two qauleties from those six qaulties: combat, diplomacy, adventure, cunning, chivary and psyche. each event is placed in one of the three main regions of the game as the rules says; Camelot, Cornwall, or Perilous Forest. each region have diffrent quests, by that i mean most of the quest in Camelot need combat and chivalry while in Cornwall most if the quest will need Cunning and Diplomacy, that will help you arrange you charecters in the best regions for them.

III.
Basic rules
Turns
the turns are divided to 4 steps, when a player finishes the 4th step its the next player's turn.
1. each players in his own turn have to drawn an event card and place it in the region that matches the card. IMPOTANT: a lot of players forget all the times to read event's special things, READ them! it makes the game much more fun, don't forget!
2. if there are 'may' special abilty you must decide which one you'll use NOW, you won't be able to do it later.
3. the player checks if he can complete any events. a player can complete maximum one event in each main region. a player may never do that before or after the third step of the turn.
4. this is the last step. that player get two action points that he can spent (you can't save them so it'll be smart to use all of them). in one point he can move a charcter, draw a charecter from the charecters' decl or play a charceter from his hand to one of the main regions.
charecters
each charcter has all the six qauleties although the values changes from charecter to charecter. each charcer have a special ability (at least i think, i hadn't yet saw charcter without special ability). some are may abilities that you can activate in any of your turns at the second step. some abilities are passive and you can't get rid of them until the charcter is discarded but no worries, most of passive abilities are better then worse. some charcters are knights (the ones is the shield in the left upper side of thier cards). beeing knight is symbolic thing and the deffrent between knight and other charcters are the effect of the abilities on them. some abilities will only effect knights, or only knight form specific allegiance.
Event
there isn't much more telling on events, i'll simply orgenize all the things i said about them here. when completing an event you get number of victory points as written on the card. each event have special effect which is need to be read. in order to finish an event you need that all your charecters in the region the event is to have equal or bigger number of the qauleties the event said. for example a quest need Diplomacy 12 and combat 9, all your knight together in the region have to have 12 diplomacy and 9 combat. one thing i havn't said yet is that there are special events. those events have special effect on the game. for example special even can say tht each player moves an enemy knight to other regions if he is willing to.

IV.
what i think about the game:
i'm a great fan of the game. i love it becaus the game is not too complex and you can either play the simple version for shorter game or the real version for longer and more intersting game. you can teach this game to anyone in less then fifteen minutes but in order to win you have to think on all the things you can do and decide what is the best, while thinking a head and trying to make your oppenets' life harder.

edit: i had some spelling mistakes and i forgot to write some of the words :D

Hi, nate.

At the moment, there are no official plans for an expansion, although we do have many concepts as to what we would work on for such an expansion, probably centering on the many adventures surrounding the Holy Grail. :)

Thanks again, and keep playing! :D

I would love a Holy Grail expansion.

By the way, have you read any books by John Matthews, an English author who is considered one of the best scholars and authorities anywhere on Arthur, the Holy Grail, the legends of Camelot, and so forth? He was an advisor on the recent King Arthur film (with Kira Knightly as a Pict Guenivere)--didn't like the movie much but that wasn't John's fault. He and his wife have translated a number of the old Celtic and French texts dating from medieval and pre-medieval times concerning the Grail and Arthur. Definitely a source to check out!
