I think I have had up to 12 players, but it's hard when you don't have enough dash boards. I wish they would bring out a pack just of the dashboards so you can have more players.

Back in the days when there were less maps we played every map back to back

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

d10-1 How many cars do you have available?
d10-2 How long do you want the game to take? The more cars the more time cool

Anywhere from 3 to 6 usually. We've tried as high as 12 once, but it took forever.

Think the most we had was 8 players with two cars each.

5 players, 3 cars each. Field of 15 cars.

It didn't take too much longer since we have three casualities before the first turn (I believe it was Monterey). :-)

Yet I suggest a field of 7-12 cars. Less than that and you'll have lots of empty spaces. More than that and it's too crowded.

For our Gainesville FL season we have 4-7 players racing with 8-10 cars. Most races we have 10 cars. More cars = more collisions

we usually use 10 cars in race, but we would like to use 12 in this season.

I have multiple core sets, & I've had races of up to 15 players running one car each. I wouldn't recommend that as a regular thing though. I think Formula D/De shines best with 6-8 players. Currently we're running a 9 driver league, & it's going pretty well. Games just take a while.

The maximum I did was 20 cars. It was a long game.

20 cars playing historical seasons solitaire.
3 lap races, cars with between 8-20 points seeded according to their historical performance.

I'm doing a 20 car race now based on the 1950 season, when finished I'll post the results. At the moment on the 3rd lap there are just 9 cars left, Farina leads Fangio
