Nice to meet you.
I'm a husband, dad, teacher in international schools, in my second decade in Asia. I've got roots in Canada and the USA, in and near some wonderful places.
When I was a kid, playing board games, like Clue
, and Monopoly
, was a family pastime. I'm new to board games that go beyond roll and move, and I love it. Games are immersive books, movies, and artwork. My wife and eldest daughter enjoy cooperative games, except during my daughter and my 45 minute commute, when she likes to challenge me to games on the iPad. Our most involved games happen when the youngest is napping, but she's getting better at taking turns and following rules (whether they're legit or made up just for her).
Outside of games, I like photography, reading, and writing, and I enjoy silent sports. I'm fortunate to have a job where there's always something interesting to learn.
